WATERCOLOUR Boho Chic / Delicate Creatures

WATERCOLOUR Boho Chic / Delicate Creatures - student project

Hello :) here are my first watercolour attemps, and also my own spin on the style. I ended up taking the watercolour sketches into photoshop and playing around with the background and blending modes to make the illustration more 'me'. I realise that this is a little off the beaten path for the project, but I wanted to take this class to explore a new medium and find out how I could use these skills along side my style. Hope you like it..... (the bottom of the dress needs more work — but I think that this is where I will bling it up!!)

Got a little carried away and did a detail shot too — the first one is without rubbing out and the second one is after using the rubber to lighten areas for the watercolour.

Hello, I couldn't decide on which way to go as there are so many lovely images out there, so I ended up doing a split moodboard on boho chic and delicate creatures. I hope you enjoy it!
