WATERCOLOR -- Dresses that Inspire

I'm building my project as I go through the class. At first I just had the inspiration images. Then, underneath the inspiration images, I put my sketches. I've chosen to put my watercolors up at the top, and when I do the final embellishments I'll put them above the watercolors.

This isn't my illustration, it's of Balmain from the 50s

Alberta Ferretti

I tried several different sketches of this one because I was playing with exagerrating the proportions.

This is the "Beach Pebble Gown" from Rent the Runway. I didn't try adding the pleats on the dress yet.

This is Oscar de la Renta. I tried doing the pattern but it's a little difficult.

This is Valentino. The angular folds were a bit of a challenge, so I practiced a little bit.
