Rinkya is an middleman service for helping you bid on items on Yahoo Japan auctions. We then transacte with the Japanese seller on your behalf, receive the item in our Tokyo warehouse, then store up to 2 months so you can save on colsolidated shipping to your home country.
1. List all major “players” in the system (eg. a marketplace may have two major players: buyers & sellers)
b. Merchant buyers
2. List out any selfish reasons why each player would need their contacts/friends to join the service
a) People like to show off rare, weird and unique items they've purchased
b) People like to show off regarding secret spots where they can purchase their collectibles
c) Some items can be bought for cheaper directly from the source
3. List out all things you could possibly charge each player for on the service
a) Commission for using Rinkya as a middleman to transact with your seller
b) Handling fee to cover the domestic charges within Japan, from the seller to our warehouse.
c) Exchange rate fee
d) Finder's service
e) International shipping charges
f) Storage charges in Japan
4. For 2 and 3 above give a very short reason you think the player would be motivated to need their contact or pay for the service
Currently, Japanese will not ship outside of Japan, nor deal with foreigners on a whole. There is a language, payment and infrastructure barrier. Rinkya is the only way they can get these items, sans hopping on a plane.
