Vintage inspiration mood board from the 1960s and 1970s

 

I love bohemian chic and my inspiration stems from the  by the psychadelic and flower prints of the 1960s and  the hippy look of  the crochet lace, denim and the fringing  of the 1970s.

The 1960s relates to me as having both psychedelic and flower prints not forgetting the mini skirt.  Long, floaty dresses wide pants and denim epitomises the 1970s for me.  Floaty

Bold accessories such as hats, bags and statement jewellery  can make an outfit from the high street that bit different if not adept with a needle as shown in some of the images in my mood board.

 This red dress is from the ruffles trend.  Love the sweeping movement of the skirt.

 

 

This is my first uncompleted project using watercolours which I am very unfamiliar with.  Lacking facial features and embellishments but will complete soon.
