View from Window Seat

One of the great things about flying is getting the opportunity to see the beautiful landscape of this great country through the window of your seat.  This was taken on my flight home from South Carolina after dropping my neice off back home from her visit up north.

Normally, I would process my photos in either B&W or Color but after viewing Jason M Peterson's class I decided to mix it up and edit the sky and landscape it in B&W and the wing in color.  First I started in Snapseed by increasing the sharpness and structure.  I followed it up with some basic edits in brightness and contrast then adusted the crop slightly.  Next, I brought the photo into Filterstorm where I used some of the tricks Jason tought in his class by masking the sky and landscape in B&W while keeping the wing in color.  After reviewing the photo, I decided to add some more sharpening just to the wing to bring out more details.

I am grateful to have learned so much in this short class and look forward to using what I learned in future edits.
