Urbane

I chose a random word from http://www.merriam-webster.com because I thought it would be fun to learn a new word and add it to my vocabulary.

Urbane means "polite and confident". I've never seen this word used before or I never took the time to look it up if I ever saw it.

I sketched a few concepts in my sketchbook: 

I found Franklin Gothic URW Extra Compressed on TypeKit and sync'd it to my desktop. Then I took it into Illustrator to play around some more. I didn't think this word needed too many embellishments based off of the meaning.
