Turkish Style Meatballs

I modified the original recipe for a little cultural touch. Instead of Oregano and ricotta cheese I used fresh onions and full fat yogurt. And for more oriental taste I added cumin, sweet powder pepper, and chopped hot chili pepper. At the end, they tasted incredible... :)

Recipe:

  • 2lbs Meat (I use ground beef shoulder)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 lbs(150 gr.) full fat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh fresh onions
  • 2 tsp sweet powder pepper
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp hot chili pepper
