Trestle Brewing Co.

Trestle Brewing Co. - student project

Hey all,

A friend is starting a small brewery and asked me to work on the signage/logo design. The brewery will be located in a small farm town near several old train trestles, hence the name. The client would like to incorporate a trestle bridge and some hops into the design (no trains).  The brewer has long hair and a beard so I might make his head a hop-head cluster. I'm trying to create a vintage/heritage industrial farm feel but a little more modernized. The label will be placed on beer growlers, coasters, t-shirts, and possibly carved into wood on the tap handles.

Appreciate all feedback.

cheers

Josh

I know this is probably a bad move, but I went ahead and did a layout on the computer because I'm faster at laying type out and moving things around.  I'm not great at hand drawn type yet. Working back and forth on paper and computer and once I think the layout is right I plan to re draw it all by hand and then do another scan.

Reference designs. I'm liking the arc type as it lends way a bit to a trestle bridge.
