Ohhh yeah... I gotta finish this and turn it into a print!
Update: 4/2/13 Pretty happy with my lines so far. All done in illustrator. I'm thinking about putting this on a paper background, then fill in with noise and brush strokes to mimic Smashing Pumpkins' Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album art.
Got a good base for my vector line work. Gonna start working on widths tomorrow. Get some differences in the capital i's and t's.
The song "Tonight, Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins is my all time favorite song, and one of it's final lyrics is my mantra: "The impossible is possible tonight."
It was really an obvious choice for me to draw. I went with a copperplate script that fit the mood of the video and album cover, which were themselves inspired by George Melies- so very classic movies.
Oh- and I'l be playing with the position of the words in relation to one another.
