To Asbury Park, With Love

Here are the ideas I have written down, from most likely to do, to least likely.

  1. Walking the Boards on the Jersey Shore, a summertime afternoon jaunt
  2. Where to Eat in Asbury Park, NJ
  3. Where to Hear Live Music in Asbury Park, NJ
  4. Asbury Park or Bust: A New Yorker's Map to Escaping to the Shore
  5. Not too Close, Not Too Far: Murray Hill, the Perfect New York Neighborhood

Asbury Park is very rich with creatives. I created a Pinterest board (listed below) with some of the art and design from the neighborhood. This should help me hone a look and feel for the map, while also showing the rest of the class some of my town.

(currently adding more posters and signage from the town in)

Exercise: Hand-drawn Maps
(running a bit behind on this, because of work. only have 1 map drawn, but plan to do more.)

My apologies, but my freelancing has kept me from finishing this project. I hope to do so in the next month, when free time does show itself. I am glad to have to work, but am sorry that I didn't get a chance to dedicate time to this class, which I was so looking forward to doing. Thank you Anne, for the class!
