Tiny half pan palette

I loved to create this tiny palette that’s easy to fit into my bag. And when searching for a perfect size tin box I found this cute one. I used magnetic tape under the pans to keep them in place and as you can see it fits exactly 5 pans on a row. I wanted to limit the color palette so that I could challenge myself to get better at mixing the colors. Plus this way I have more than enough space for a piece of a tea towel and a travel water brush with two ‘tops’. A thin and a thicker one so that I can also get a variety in line thickness on the road. And since I still have some space left I think of adding a tiny pencil+eraser and a clip to attach the tin to a sketchbook.

I’m not sure of all the colors that I added yet and I might change some of them (but that’s easy with the magnetic tape!). I love to paint bright flowers and therefore I also loved to have pink in there. And the yellow tone is still something I’m a bit in doubt with (indecisive, so suggestions are welcome!)

Currently I have the following colors in there: Permanent Rose, Cadmium Yellow, French Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna and Payne’s Gray). I also loved the idea of the Yellow Ochre for a Velasquiz palette, but not sure about the mixes it gives with the other colors in the palette.

But yay, so far so good and I can’t wait to test it out!
