Tick Tock Pattern | Skillshare Projects

Tick Tock Pattern

I worked on a new pattern this week using a sketch of vintage clocks that i drew.

I love color so i kept the pattern colorful and playful!

Here is the pattern as a swatch

Kids raincoats are always so fun and imagined this pattern working well for that purpose.

Here's the first pattern i tried when i first took elizabeth's class

I absolutely loved this class! My obsession with puzzles & drawing came together while working with these patterns and it was so wonderful! Thank you Elizabeth & Skillshare for offering up this class & website. As a stay at home mama, there haven't been as many opportunites for taking classes around town, but learning and working on my own time was perfect!

This pattern is based on childhood memories of lightning bugs while growing up in Texas.

I'm calling it Summer Magic! The mood board made so much difference in the project as I noticed myself referring back to it.

Here are my sketches of what comes to mind when I think of lightning bugs! I was prompted by @weekly.art.challenge last week to draw "LIGHT" at the same time I was taking Elizabeth's Pattern Design class, so it made sense to create a pattern using these elements.

And here is the Summer Magic Pattern!

I also played around with added my patterns to a raincoat, skirt/pants & bedding.

Thanks for having a looksie! I'm really enjoying others creations in the class. And thank you again for sharing the knowledge! Forever grateful > julz
