Thinking in INK - cafe au lait roses

Thinking in INK - cafe au lait roses - student project

This is my first attempt at really playing with inks.  Worked from an original picture of a rose, which I brought into Adobe Capture - then used my light box to transfer the image onto bristol paper. Had a little help from Oliver (my fluffy white assistant).  I like using Adobe Capture, especially when I'm not confident about my drawing skills.

One thing I found interesting about using inks is that you can very easily erase all your pencil marks - when ink has dried on paper it's very durable.  It also creates a good base for applying colored pencils (which I've been heavily into lately).
