There is Beauty in Simplicity

There is beauty in simplicity.

This is one of the reasons that I like to make flower portraits. I'm self taught and I have a more minimalistic style, which can be dark & moody and at other times more colorful.

Sometimes I feel that the flowers let me know how I should photograph them weather it's outside in the natural light or inside using my LED lights.

I feel that I am ready to go into stage two because I'm able to work with the minimum equipment that I currently have; also I started making postcard size prints of some of my photos for family & friends.

I have to admit there are times when I have become uninspired and have no ideas on what to do, so I will research something online to get ideas because I want to be able to sell my flower portraits as fine art prints and so I will continue to practice, read & take classes to improve my skills.

I have a Instagram account @phillygirl61 but it has a little bit of everything on it and I have to clean it up.
