The used to be cute squirrel before eating my spring flowers and the now cute bat

The used to be cute squirrel before eating my spring flowers and the now cute bat - student project

It's a true story, don't even know if this should be the cute animal or the one I don't find cute (anymore). :)

You see, we have these squirrels where we moved last year in London, they used to be so funny and lovely until they started wreaking havoc in my small patio garden. They dug up the containers last spring, ate a lot of the cherry tomatoes during the summer, but I didn't mind them. Fed them through the winter, as they are a big family with many little ones, and this spring, when for the first time I have dozens of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, crocuses etc, they decided almost all of them are delicious. And they don't spend too much time deciding what's going down the throat and what's going to be spit out.

So you can imagine. Bit of frustration, but they are cute, nevertheless.

Here's one of the babies smelling a crocus, just before devouring it.

By the way, I never painted before, except in primary school. And I am completely new to watercolour. Your classes are so inspiring, Yasmina. Thank you for all your effort! I'm also following many of your other courses, and they are so helpful! I think the best part is the fact you really manage to get people believing they can do it and set them on the right path to searching their own way.

Well, for the time being I'm just adjusting, but after I decide which category this squirrel falls into, I'll upload the other cutie.

Cheers! :)

Later edit - I added the bat for the not so cute animal. This was really fun. :)
