The top 10 best Productivity hacks you should use

Do you know the timeless but very useful hack called (10+2)*5? The hack is created by Merlin Mann, author of 43folders.com.
The formula isn't that hard to solve. (10+2)*5 intelligibly means 10 minutes of work + 2 minutes breaks multiplied by 5 equals completion of one 1 hour. The key is to stick within the time limits without skipping work or break schedules. This hack very effective for making a loaded routine of work and break schedules. With this in mind, let's break down the top 15 hacks you should be using to make your professional life bearable.

Know thyself

During the day, I'm mostly productive during the afternoon after my sandwich break untill 6 p.m. If you take a look in my agenda, all of my most crucial tasks that needs to be done are in that time period each day. Understand precisely when you are the most productive throughout the day. This can be very interesting for scheduling tasks that will require a considerable amount of your concentration. Being in business, stakes are often very high. To be able to handle stress during the day, I always meditate in the morning. It also helps me to manage my time and my focus. There is no better way to be more productive than taking a little time to let everything sinc down. Meditation is a practice. It helps the individual to train the mind and consciousness, either to realize some benefit or to simply acknowledge oneself. Meditation is a powerful life hack to improve the clarity and function of the brain, it lowers blood pressure and much more.

It's important to keep the expenses as low as possible, especially when you have a mission for your business
Today, lots of entrepreneurs work from home, the library or the coffe shop around the corner of the street. You no longer need a brick and mortar location, be creative for a change. Realize your vision first and after you have wild success, you can celebrate and splurge.

4. Work smarter, not harder

Use this a your new mantra as it is mine. I try to always ask myself if something can't be done more effectively and efficiently
or not at all altogether. I try to simplify how I work, do things fast and without stress. It's all about making space in my life to spend time with people I love, have fun and relax. In a 24 hour period there is enough time to manage what needs to be done.
To many people jump straight into trying to solve a problem without actually trying to understand ot first. Use your intellect, skills and tools to create solutions instead of a purely brute force approach.

5. Think Outside the box

A friend of mine once told me that the best way to think outside the box is to know that there isn't a box in the first place. Our generation is all about drawing outside the lines. We are innovative, from Mark Zuckenberg with Facebook and Tim Ferriss’ the Four-Hour Work week to crowdsourcing, information products, and so much more.. I'm just scratching the surface. Think of what you want to achieve, map out a strategy, test, evaluate, rinse and repeat. You don't need a box to think in or outside of.

6. Make use of the pomodoro technique

When I have an important tasks that requires consistency to be done, I make use of the pomodoro technique.
Developed by Francesco Cirillo in the 80's, the technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. The intervals are cleverly named pomodoros, which is Italian for tomatoes (in plural). The idea is that frequent breaks can improve mental agility. If you don't have a timer, visit this website.

7. Stop multitasking
I used to think that multitasking was a synonym for being productive, Oh boy I was wrong. Multitasking decreases
your quality of work and it's less efficient. A research conducted at Stanford University even shows that multitasking is less productive than doing a single thing at a time. The researchers also noticed that people who are consistently bombarded with several streams of electronic information can't pay attention. They have a hard time to recall information, or switch from one job to another as fast as those who complete one task at a time. The message is to just focus on the task at hand to get better results. Remember that the human brain can only focus for 90 to 120 minutes at a time it needs a break. Make those minutes count.

9. Get ergonomic and stay healthy

When it comes to sitting or standing, to much of a good thing can be a bad thing. Make use of innovative workstations and work out a routine. Boost your everyday productivity and do meaningful work. Don't just focus on your business and neglect your health like most entrepreneurs do. Working out daily is a great way to get energy and stamina for the whole day. It might take 2 months before a behavior becomes automatic, but you're a fighter so it shouldn't matter.

10. Don't forget to enjoy

Don't get caught up in business, and enjoy what you do. Focus on working smarter and not on getting things done. Work to expand and enjoy your times of. Set goals to commit in a way that you're happy and in a way that you can bare. Be open to opportunity, understand who you are, be curious and embrace your passions. This may sound cheesy, but it's something people tends to forget when life becomes challenging.
