I used this to help determine where and how to stand to get the Super moon rise. Though I am surrounded by mountains some of which rise 2000 to 7000 feet immediately above the valley, I could not shoot it as it was rising, but I think you'll see how I worked it out. The moon rising above Mt. Garfield about 2000 feet above where I was standing
