My Everyday Power

The greatest book you will ever read!

It all started Junior year in college. After 2 and half years of a phenomenal college experiences, when I reflected back on it - all I saw was a blur. It was like looking out of a car window at a high speed. A hell of a time, but not too sure where I am at or where I am going. When I was ready to start slowing down I serendipitously stumbled upon a YouTube video by Jim Rohn, who was speaking about the power of journal writing. After hearing this highly motivating and inspirational talk, I was aware that a life worth living is a life worth recording. But even more immediate, I knew I was having an unforgettable college experiences, but I since I was moving so fast (and partying so much) I could only remember a few of them.

At that point mid Junior year I started journal writing, 2 -3 days a week. Now 6 years later I write just about every single day and have noticed major strides in my personal development. I have quit smoking, got into the best shape of my life, have a career that's steady on the rise and have the healthiest relationships my life has ever seen. I am not saying all of this is due to journal writing. But journal writing has allowed to keep track of my own growth, progress, problems, concerns, fears, doubts, success, and accomplishments. When I look back at my experiences it is no longer a blur, it is the greatest book on self discovery I have ever read.
