Well, it was about time. As a journalist and blogger for several newspapers and printed arts & culture magazines, I have never actually had my own personal blog. I took this online course primarily to brush up on blog integration with social media for my current position doing marketing and branding for the craft beer industry, but for this project I chose to brand myself. Thanks for all the great materials, Nate! I'd love to hear what other ideas people have as to what makes them read and trust company blogs and social media sites, outside of straightforward promotions. I am currently championing a more relaxed, inviitng social presence that focuses on interaction rather than in-your-face product placement. All ideas are helpful!
