The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom

I recently finished reading The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom, and loved it! It's a story about Father Time, how he came to be, and how he redeems himself from God's punishment for measuring time.

While brainstorming, I kind of knew I wanted to incorporate an hourglass since it's an important part of the story.

I drew different forms of the letter A as well to experiment.. and liked how the bottom left one looked.

As you can see, I didn't really deviate away from the initial sketch. I initially wanted an ombre effect to fit the sunrise/sunset, and some hills, but it seemed a bit too busy; what do you think?

I opted for a solid gold color (the phrase time is gold popped in my head). I also chose a dark brown for the background to give that cave feeling (Father Time spent quite a bit of time in a cave).

I do think there's something a bit missing haha. Will come back to this soon. Do let me know what you think! I appreciate some feedback.

Thank you for viewing! :)
