Part 1: The Surprise Version

The children are settling in for movie night when the lights go off, they still and get comfortable for the next 90 mins. 20 mins into the movie the projector turns off. Mark gets up to turn it back on but the projector won’t turn on. He goes over to turn the lights on and the lights don’t turn on either. Counselor Jason yells “Everyone stays in their seats”. Mark turns to Jason and sees the gun in his hands and the gun is directly pointed to the kids.

 

Part 2: The Suspense Version

The children are all gathered together in the makeshift movie theatre. They are having their weekly movie night and tonight they are watching “Babe”. The counselors are responsible for counting all the children assuring they are all there. The children are hyper and running around making it hard for Mark to count them. “Hey guys, please stay still so I count you all!” Mark shouts. The children still and get comfortable for the next 90 mins. After Mark has counted all 25 kids, he turns off the lights and turns on the projector. 20 mins into the movie Mark dozing off in the corner he is woken up by the kids booing and moaning. He gets up and realizes the projector turned off. He tries to turn it back on but it doesn’t turn on. He goes to turn on the lights and the lights aren’t turning on either. Counselor Jason yells “Everyone stays in their seats”. Mark turns to Jason and sees the gun in his hands and the gun is directly pointed to the kids.
