The Story of Three Little Pigs

The Story of Three Little Pigs - student project

This is such a fun project and I really appreciate the well-thought out steps to finishing the assignment. Thank you Lisa for such a useful and relevant class.

I read through a few emails that others posted and there were some really good replies with great questions! It helped me to see where I would have missed asking for information that would be really useful. So here is the email I crafted after doing some research from other skillsharers emails. :)

Hi Sally,

Thank you for reaching out to me. I appreciate your interest in my work for this wonderful project. I am interested and thrilled at the opportunity to work on a modern take on an old classic.

Before I get started, I  have a few questions that will help me to understand your project better so I can provide you with the best illustrations.

I am grateful that my work caught your attention and that you think my style best suits this project. Can you tell me which of my illustrations you are particularly drawn to? What about those pieces fit with your vision for this project?

Do you have any specific bold colors in mind?

Will there be any authors listed on the cover and would you like them to be handwritten too?

I can send you those rough drafts by (insert date). Which file format  and size do you prefer?

Looking ahead to phase two, I want to make sure that I have enough time to complete the interior illustrations. Do you have a rough deadline for this part of the project? Do you have an estimate for how many pages the interior book will have? What will the fee be for the interior pages?

I look forward to working with you on this project and modernizing the story of the little pigs for a new generation. Thank you again for considering me for this exciting project.
