The Rook by Daniel O'Malley

Hello All!

I have chosen The Rook by Daniel O'Malley. It's a book I really enjoy and have read a few times. Below is the start to my brainstorming. I plan to re-read the book to come up with more fresh brainstorming ideas since it has been a little while since I last read it, but I wanted to get the ball rolling on my project!

In case you are unfamiliar with the book, here's what Wikipedia has to say about it:

"The Rook is the 2012 debut novel of Australian author Daniel O'Malley. The epistolary novel follows protagonist Myfanwy (pronounced like "Tiffany" with an "M") Thomas as she attempts to re-integrate into her life of administrating a clandestine government organization responsible for protecting the U.K. from supernatural threats. Following a magically-induced bout of amnesia, she works to uncover the identity of a traitor inside the organization while simultaneously keeping her amnesia a secret. The title of the book is a reference to Thomas' rank in her organization, the Checquy."

Right now I plan on focusing on the letter O, however this could change after reading the book again. You can see I've already started focusing on some major themes (and even roughly sketched some cheesy/obvious ideas).

Alright, I am going to start reading, be back with more updates and photos!

Cheers!
