The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

I love patterns as a way of storytelling. I thought it would be fun to tackle one of my childhood favorites -- The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

The story is full of rich themes and imagery, but I thought an interesting one was the transformation of Winter to Spring.

I was really liking the winter palette and thought it captured a really familiar part of the story, so I decided to focus there -- I would love to play around with the winter to spring idea in the future, though. Also, I think it could be fun to do something more with the turkish delight motifs...
