The Journal

A girl lives in a futuristic society with advanced learning system. She learns differently than the rest. She also sees events and happenings that appear to be real but she doesn’t know where they come from. Because she is different, she is not accepted by her peers or educators. She is classified as part of the inept group. She feels inferior and lacks self-confidence as she fights against the system. She finds her ggg grandmother’s journal, who wrote about her experiences while during a time of war and upheaval. When she reads the journal, she is surprised to read about many of the events she saw in vision. As she continues to read the journal, she sees herself in her grandmother and learns about her inner strength by discovering her roots. She comes to realize that although she cannot revolutionize her environment, she always has a choice and can choose how she responds to her situation.
