The Doves

Really excited to be apart of this class, there's a lot of great designs and I'm looking forward to feeding off from each other. So let me start with my sketch; normally I go straight to my computer - bare with me as these are more like rough thumbnails than anything.

I went with the band The Doves - mainly just because I like them.

After that period I started designing my poster; I ended up sort of merging the two together and creating three doves rather than one; there are three band members after all.

Below is the design so far; i'll be making adjustments as I go along. 
Looking to add more little details, work on the type a little more, and add lots of texture.
