The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory - Toronto

The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory - Toronto - student project

For this project, I decided to visit one of my favourite places close by. The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is an hour away from Toronto, and it is the home to thousands of gorgeous butterflies as well as a beautiful garden that takes your breath away. I am originally from Colombia, so I feel right at home when I go there. I went on a very busy Saturday, but I had the opportunity to sit and sketch for a good hour and a half. This was a great practice. I forgot how much I love to sketch and capture the ambiance of the place I am in.

I hope you enjoy my illustration.
