I considered a few options to navigate but on first design take commited to no scrolling.
Meant to appeal to the average user, big, bold numbers and basic info. I'm going with the minimalistic approach, temperature view listed initially with more information available, sunrise / sunset, weekly, etc. and possibly the option of user customization with the background.
Still working out circular nav element, iconography and overall design.
Cleaned this up a bit. Moved away from circular element although still represented.
- Color serve as a visual cue to the weather and temperature outside
- Tap for more information
- Swipe for weekly display
More to come any comment, feedback or suggestions are great.
Final Project Post:
Thank you Sarah Mick and Christopher Paul, this was a great exercise and thanks to everyone in the class for the inspiration.
I wanted to show additional function.
1- Location swipe will show other added locations and conditions below will reflect that location.
2- Temperature swipes independently from location and show weekly conditions.
User will be prompted by animation when entering the app.
