Tandoori Chicken Meatballs

I FINALLY made my meatballs last night! They were AMAZING!

I decided to make Tandoori Chicken Meatballs.

I adapted a tandoori chicken recipe into meatballs. Here is how I did it.


2 pounds ground chicken

1 cup plain greek yogurt

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

1 Tbsp granulated garlic

1 tsp ground cumin

1/4 tsp ground cardamom

1 tsp ground pepper

2 tsp kosher salt


I mixed the yogurt, egg, spices and breadcrumbs together. Then added the ground chicken. I formed  ounce balls and baked them at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

I did end up using a bottled Taste of Indiansimmer sauce called Butter Chicken, that had paprika, tomato and spices. I served them with basmati rice.

Since this recipe made SO MANy meatballs, I decided to put half into a Creamy Vodka sauce that I served over wide egg noodles.


Both were extremely delicious!
