THE SPIDER'S DREAM

For the first technique I used this photo I took of a bromeliad covered with dew-laden spiderwebs.

Here's the kaleidoscope.  Isn't it cool!

I used another photo of bromeliads with spider webs for the second smart-object technique.

These are SOME of the kaleidoscopes I made from it.

What a lot of fun!  That smart-object technique is really easy once you get the hang of it.  Thanks heaps for this great class, Helen!  Very inspiring!

Later, I tried using 10 degrees instead of 15 so that I got 18 pieces of pie in the kaleidoscope instead of 12, with the red bromeliad spiderweb photo again and I got the most beautiful piece of lace.

I have worked out how to use this smart object technique to make Mad patterns as described in Helen's complex rotating pattern class. This is very addictive as well.  Here is one.
