I think that turquoise leaves really pop with those hints of brown and green. I love how adding the purple helped to deepen the grapefruit segments. I also used a little bit of fluorescent paint to bring out the orange in those segments. 

 

The Cherries below was a rollercoaster of hate and love as I was painting it. At the time, I thought that the blossoms were too dark, the cherries too large, and not red enough. But since drying, I think this is my favorite piece of the four. The cherries may be large but the dark blue I added helped to make the red cooler and give the cherry some of that shiny appearance. I did use a white paint pen to bump up the intensity of the white space highlights on the cherries, and I think it made a difference.
