I'm starting to plan my next personal retreat day, which will be around the time of the Summer Solstice (21st June). I'm going to focus on happiness and celebrating my achievements, because I feel that this is something I've lost track of recently. I've become quite good at the "I should..." and "Next, I will..." and forgotten about the "I can..." and "I have achieved..."
I've made a journal (which you see me creating in the class video) and filled in my plan.
In a moment of synchronicity, the message 'Celebrate the wins' appeared in a supermarket flyer that came through my door this morning, so I cut it out to save for one of my collage pages.
I'm planning to spend the day reconnecting with activities that make me happy (such as dancing and spending time in nature), celebrating my achievements (through journaling and creating some personalised affirmation cards), reading about happiness, and planning some intentions for the summer. I'll end the day with a cake and maybe some prosecco to celebrate myself and my achievements. This will be a day for wearing a floaty summer dress (even if I have to wear warm layers underneath!) and the flower wreath that I bought at a festival a few summers ago.
