In orded to achieve this look, I layered colors until it achieved the desired "smoky" effect.  I used a basic nude eyelid primer from MAC to start, did a base shade of nude shimmer from Urban Decay's 'Naked' pallet, filled the crease with a chocolate-y matte color also from the 'Naked' pallet, and used a tad bit of black on the outer corners.  I completed the look using MAC's blackest black paint pot liner and applied it with an eyeliner brush, and added some fun falsies for drama.  I used Make Up Forever's smoky lash mascara (my MUST have!) to my bottom lashes a bit on the top to blend my real lashes with the false ones.

This is my 'daytime' look!  I'm a HUGE fan of purples/plums.  No matter what color eyes you have, purples always make them POP!  No false lashes used here, just Make Up Forever's 'Smoky Lash' Mascara in black.  All of the colors used are matte-- I find shimmery shadows work better in the evening picture-wise.   Used a basic black eye liner pencil on the lid lash line.   I filled my brows with a MAC pencil and blended them with a brow brush.  Highlighted a bit under under the brow and voila!  A perfect day look.
