Strawberry Breakfast

I'm one of those late attendees to the class. :)

I used one of my usual breakfast picks for the subject. These were taken at about 9:00am, at ISO 1000, 1/40 sec, 3.2f.

The first was somewhat of an overhead shot, though not my favorite. I didn't quite get the focus where I'd like, on the bread, and just didn't feel this was the best angle for the grouping.

The next was the better angle, almost head-on. I tried to get the focus more on the bread, rather than the strawberries, which, I think, worked out. I added the napkin in this shot to break up the brownish tones, and to coordinate with the white of the jar label.

(For some reason, these both look like they have a slightly more yellowish cast to them than they do on my computer outside of the Skillshare site...)

My getting a handle on ISO, shutter speed, and aperture is taking a little longer than I'd like, but I think I'm getting close. Thanks, Jewels, for the great insight on how it all works for food photography, a favorite topic of mine. :)
