Story Marketing: How to Have Fun Marketing Your Fiction Book

I published my Story Marketing: How to Have Fun Marketing Your Fiction Book class this morning and have been working to reach 25 enrolled students. I've reached 15, yay! But I still have 10 more to go.

If you're a writer and want to attract more readers, I encourage you to enroll in the class. http://skl.sh/2enCnA8

Below is a list of what I've done to market the course so far.

1. Set the class as free (for now) to lower the barrier to enrollment.

2. Posted my promo video on YouTube and added more tags to increase it's likelihood of being found.

3. Posted a welcome message in the discussion area.

4. Posted my own project in the project area to encourage other students to post projects.

5. Provided feedback to the first student to post a project.

6. Posted a project (related to my class) within another teacher's class.

7. Posted a short message with a referral link onto Twitter, multiple Facebook Skillshare groups, and on my Facebook page.

8. I even tried paying a few dollars to boost my Facebook post to those you are interested in fiction writing, book marketing, or self-publishing to see if that helps. The boost was just approved, so we'll see if it looks like it will help.

9. I will be teaching a workshop on Story Marketing: How to Have Fun Marketing Your Fiction Book on Friday at a writer's conference, so that should help boost the class some more.
