Story Marketing: How to Have Fun Marketing Your Fiction Book

Jan, thank you for the helpful advice. I just published my first class on Skillshare today and have been working on the many marketing tasks I need to complete to get my enrollment to 25.

The class is Story Marketing: How to Have Fun Marketing Your Fiction Book.

1. I haven't created a text-based teaser video yet, but that's a great idea and will do so right away.

2. In my intro video at https://youtu.be/voy5wDlf4e4 I covered why students need Story Marketing, what the course covers, and I include a call to action at the end.

3. I am sending an email out today after I complete my blog post.

4. I wrote a welcome message.

Welcome to Story Marketing: How to Have Fun Marketing Your Fiction Books.

I'm here to answer your questions, provide feedback on your projects, and help you get your books out into the hands and hearts of your readers.

Once you finish the viewing the class, please create your first piece of Story Marketing content before you let life distract you with other things. For your first piece of Story Marketing content, I encourage you to choose an idea that you can create and publish in less than thirty minutes to help you gain momentum and confidence.

I look forward to seeing what you create.

5. I wrote the following message for posting on Facebook about the course.

Do you want to attract more readers and have fun doing your book marketing? If so, check out my new class on Story Marketing: Have Fun Marketing Your Fiction Books. In less than 25 minutes, you’ll learn how to create your first piece of Story Marketing content to promote your book and attract more readers.

To help get the word out, I’ve set the class for free today. If you click on this link today, you can enroll for free and learn how to market a book and have fun doing so.
