Stories from Rome: the Tai Chi woman

Updated Mar, 13th 2013

Hello everybody,

as I am working on an assignment that involves talking about a particularly multi-ethnical square in Rome, I ended up meeting Maria, a chinese woman who's been living in Italy for 30 years. She goes to this square, called piazza Vittorio, 3 times per week every week to practice Tai Chi. I found her interesting because she's very camera friendly and she offered to practice dressed up with the traditional chinese clothes, sword including. Funny enough, she says she can come with the sword only early in the morning, otherwise the police won't let her in the square.. =)

Another video I did in this square last week is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7l1dz6o74U
