Still Waters Run Deep

Still Waters Run Deep - student project

I choose to letter the phrase Still Waters Run Deep which means that something that generally looks calm on top can have a lot of activity that you don't see.

According to Wikipedia: Still waters run deep is a proverb of Latin origin now commonly taken to mean that a placid exterior hides a passionate or subtle nature.

I've been working more on the "Still Waters" part of the phrase and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with "Run Deep." More script? Flourishes? or some sort of text in caps?

Anyway, here are my initial sketches!
