Sterzing for swappers.

There are two things constantly in my mind: my children  (ok that makes it 3 things in my mind), and travelling. The map I have in mind serves the children to keep in their backpacks so they don't get lost and our friends with whom we sometimes swap house, so they find our recommendations and useful sites.

*update 1: I love the idea of making a map for children and I might do so in the future, but the turn that this project is taking is more towards a map for people with whom we swap houses and friends who come and stay with us.

  • Why am I making this map? For fun? A client? A gift? To showcase my favorite places? Etc.

I'm making this map to share it with friends who come and visit so they can get around our tiny town.

  • Why am I the expert to create this map?

Because I want to share the experience of living here "my way".

  • Who is my target audience?

People who like to enjoy life and discover new things. It's the kind of map I would like to receive when visiting a new place.

  • Do I want my final project to be printed or digital? How is going to be used/held? What other constraints do I need to keep in mind moving forward? (Note type can be smaller on printed maps than when viewed on web)

I think this map would be ideal if usable on a mobile device.

  • Dear class, I need your help/expertise/guidance on how to.....

Ideas on how to achieve the previous point?

*Update 2: I made this other little map for my friend's honeymoon, which I'm in the process of planning. I like it, though it has little to do with my actual project, I post it here because all your projects inspired me greatly!
