Square family portraits

Hi!

I love shooting with my iPhone. It is nice to just focus on light and composition and that is why I often leave my DSLR at home. I need new inspiration and my goal is to capture my family only i square format in different lighting situations and environments. Indoor and outdoor.

I like to get things as good as possible in camera and thats why I also try to shoot in square format for this project (perhaps some exception). I have to be better composing these kind of images that I love som much.

For now I use these apps: PureShot, Snapseed and of course VSCO cam.

My favourite portrait to date. This is my youngest daughter at our kitchen table. Just love window light.

This is my father. We are much alike and always talks sports or photography. He himself has been taken pictures of our family all his life and the house is full of family albums. I try to do the same.

This is my oldest daughter. She also likes to take pictures. We try do go on small adventures and exploring the surroundings at home.

A few more from today in bad lighting situations. Don´t wanna use flash. Tried out Photoshop Express and I think it is ok but has its limitations. Still waiting for Filterstorm Neue.

For these last shots I have used the new Filterstorm Neue togehter with Snapseed and VSCO Cam. It took a while to figure it out but I like it the more I work with it. Next step is to use some lighing setups to create more dramatic portraits.
