Spicy Jalapeno and Ghost Pepper Pickles

I am a big fan of spicy pickles. So I decided that these were the pickles I was going to make.

I started with a large mouth mason jar.

Ingredients:

  • Cucumbers
  • 4-6 cloves of Garlic (minced or roughly chopped) - Used pre-minced garlic this time. That's whay it looks like there is a ton in there. First time doing that.
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper cut into rings (seeds included)
  • 3 tbsps White Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ghost Pepper infused Sea Salt
  • Water

Process:

  1. Cut Jalapeno pepper, garlic and cucumber
  2. Fill mason jar with the garlic, pepper and as many cucumber you can fit - I have tried both spears and slices
  3. Add water to fill most of the mason jar
  4. Add Vinegar, Salt and Ghost Pepper Salt
  5. Close the mason jar and shake to dissolve the salts
  6. Let sit in the refrigerator 5-7 days before eating
