I'm relatively new to photography. I got my first camera about two years ago, shot for six months then it was stolen so I went without shooting for about a year. Honestly, that year off was not so bad. I spent my extra time in the library and online reading up on everything photography. Although I couldn't put what I was reading to practice it all paid off when I got my new camera. Instantly I was taking pictures that I enjoyed much more than before.
The first thing I did when I got my new camera was email a small local music venue asking if I could shoot around at shows. Having nothing to show for my skills I wasn't expecting a response, but the next day in my inbox was an invitation to shoot at their next show. It's been about three months now since I started shooting shows around Burlington, Vt and I absolutely love it. Here's some of my favorites.
