Now, this is a difficult class! I love that looseness but I sadly failed at getting any similarity. I'm still pretty happy with my result but it has nothing to do with the demonstration, despite all my efforts to obtain such delicate marks.
The bristle brush gave me some troubles, it feels too big for my need. Small areas were blended using a tiny flat brush. I didn't manage to obtain that sumptuous canopy in a realistic manner, mine looks quite 'cartoonesque', if I can say lol. But I guess it is not to reproduce anyway, so it is all good for now !
I did learn a lot and I'm not done experimenting this beautiful style I can't tame for now. Practice, practice, it is the key, the only mantra I'm hanging to.
So here is the reference photo I used, found on Pixabay as there is nowhere that look like this scenery close by.
And here is my attempt following the instructions. Oh my.. This is so intimidating... Well, I'm here to learn so let's show how much tuition I need lol!
Thank you for this wonderful class! I'm going to try again and again until I get some nice and light marks.
