Snowdrop Anemone Flower Pin!!!

Step 1 - Inspiration (after the fact) :P

Pinterest revealed loads of creative pins! Who knew?!
I particularly liked the plant themes, including this one

a tiny terrarium pin!

Step 2. My Favorite apple metal pin - I would have to choose this jellyfish - the colors are just so vibrant!

I'm hoping to vectorize some of my floral photos - I think they would work well as pins. :)

Step 3 - Rough sketches

I chose this flower from my yard.

Under Progress... I need to eliminate a color still to get to 5
I chose to look at my pin against jeans, as that's my favorite fashion material. ;)

And, DONE!

after looking back through the soft enamel pins on AMC, I decided to use a finer black line between my colors. I think this would look excellent in black or silver metal. I'd be tempted to take the petal lowlights pink instead of the celadon if one were to use a gold metal.

Thanks so much for the class, and the opportunity to design and maybe win a pin, Jon!
I enjoyed the tips and tricks and discovered a new tangible art media. :)
Flower brooches may just be my gift of choice this spring!
