I've decided to make a map for the downtown where I live in Iowa, US. There are so many fun shops, really nice people behind the counters, and interesting historical places to see in a town of 25,000 residents by the mighty Mississippi River.

   As a visitor, and then a resident, I got to find hidden gems that could be easier to find with a map and begin explored.

   I've come to understand that maps are always evolving, growing, therefore they need to be very flexible... then useful and beautiful. This is what I have accomplished so far when creating a printer friendly version that could become, someday, a deliverable.
