So before I get started I want to say I really enjoyed this class it was in depth and very well taught!
So to start I first started with swatching out the colors I was gonna be using for the light to mid tone skin colors ( I did end up using a cooler red to see what that would look like too)
I then started mixing the light tones I found these easier because it's what i'm used to using. I did like these but I feel that next time I will do some slightly darker skin tones but still leaning towards light.
This is when I started to realize that my Raw Umber did not like to make even lays of color but I still quite like the mixes. In fact in my next painting i'm immensely excited to paint a more tan person.
For me I tend to use lighter browns and try to not use black. Which for me is were I think I noticed that I didn't have and very dark brown while swatching, but I made do!
The darker skin tones for me was kida hard, although i do likes these i feel like some of them are a bit ashy for a person. So in the future i'm going to take that into consideration when making future mixes
In total I think I learned a lot on not only how to make more mixes than I did before, but I also learned about how my paint acted with each other.
