2. Random Shapes

Doodling is not really "my thing" but I like how colourful these blobs turned out.

3. Colour Exploration

Indigo and magenta on the left, I think the circular shapes on the bottom left turned out interesting. I will consider exploring the idea more for a larger piece. Also on the right image, the pyrrol red ans the granulating zoicite genuine are an interesting combination. Indeed it is a fun exercise to get some paint on paper without stress, and even if one has little time. Who knows, cool ideas may come out of it!

4. Mood and atmosphere. Sketchbook Exercises - image 5 - student project

Here I don't know if I managed to express what I was going for. Can you guess what is the mood? ;)

I know it looks quite inconsistent, since a lot of ideas appear in the page. But I think the ink I blew around with a straw is close to what I had in mind.

5. A Study

My nose! hahah!

I think the sketch was more successful than the coloured study. Something in the proportions of the orientation is wrong on the right. Anyway, this was also fun and I am in the mood for more studies like this!

Thank you for the nice class and the practise ideas Arleesha! It was lots of fun!
