Shipping Box Transformation

Shipping Box Transformation - student project

I've watched all of your videos multiple times and bought all the supplies. I couldn't make myself paint - too early, too late, too cloudy, too dark. Truth revealed, it was too scary. Last night I rewatched your first class, listening again to your message about a learning mindset.

This afternoon I was breaking down a small box and was hit with a wave of inspiration. I abandoned my unpacking &  painted the flattened box. Apparently the only way to overcome my fear was to paint something destined for recycling.

This is three layers in. I don't know where it will end up - and I cannot tell you how much fun I'm having. I've been a digital abstract artist for years, but rarely create something with my actual hands. While this one dried, I started another.

Suzanne - thank you so much for your earnest guidance, your joyful art, your generous sharing. I am pleased that some alignment led me to your page on Skillshare.
