 Curve Tool is great but deciding on colours and designs for these things needs a lot of work! Bottom two are Sushi Ninja and Steampunk Owl

 Pen Tool was a bit hit and miss but luckily the Owl isn't too curvy

 Did enjoy the Pencil and Brush tools, it's nice to give pictures that imperfect doodle look sometimes

 The Width tool is great for fancy calligraphy but I guarantee, next time I see a "V" like that I'm using Curve tool to do the whole thing...

 Text Paths are good fun and handy. Just a shame my logo ideas aren't as good.
