hey tim, i'm thinking so... at least for the top few. there are 28 bands performing and i'm not so familiar with them all.. but anticipate listening to 1 - 2 songs per band while doing it. 

contemplating some other techniques as well. process coming soon!

I mean it would be a challenge to do a type treatment for each band if you have the time. Each one having it's own character. The downside is that most of the bands on the bill are similar. The standouts music-wise would have to be The Antlers and Jim James as they don't easily fit into the folk-rock-general-rock the rest of the bands on the bill easily fit into.

that's very true. i'm going to explore both sides in the coming days as i prepare for the refined sketch on sunday. 

I'll be creating a poster for the music festival taking place in Atlanta called Shaky Knees. I think it will be interesting to explore a more typographic solution with spot illustrations that allude to the bands, the festival and the city.&nbsp;
